Lanzarote: Our Last Stop Before the Atlantic Passage
The distance between Agadir and Lanzarote is 220 miles. We left Agadir after a very short stay since we were running behind schedule to get to Lanzarote where we would meet our third crew member Ben White for the passage across the Atlantic. We entered Lanzarote just around sunset. Ben had already arrived and had been wondering where we were.

Lanzarote is a busy sailing center with many boats departing here for the trip across the Atlantic Ocean.
The island is covered with volcanic lava.
We had only one bike and that was OK! Especially since Banu got the free ride.
