It was a good boat for one woman and a dog!
Banu saw the Beneteau Oceanis 46 at the Barcelona Boat show in 2007 and ended up trading in her 1992 Oceanis 440 for the new boat. She sailed the boat to Turkey the summer of 2007 and started upgrading various systems to prepare her for an ocean crossing. Solar panels, water-maker, new sails, additional electronics were installed in Marmaris, Turkey.
